✺ What it takes ✺

  • Deep clean of paint first with a low Ph Snow Foam to remove clinging dirt, then a contact wash with a alkaline car soap.

    • Chemical removal of iron using an iron dissolver.

    • Tar removal using special car safe Tar remover.

    • Bug Remover using enzymes that dissolve bugs bodies from paint

    • Claybar to mechanically remove any remaining paint contaminates.

  • The paint will be further prepared by polishing to enhance the smoothness, gloss and clarity using a 2 step polishing process to hone in clarity.

  • The last step before applying the coating is to gently clean the paint with IPA (alcohol) to remove all remaining polish or any other dust contaminates.

  • Applying the ceramic coating to the paint following the manufactures directions and training, ensuring to smooth down the coating carefully to leave the perfect finish.

  • The final stage is to use UV lamps to cure the coating and then let it rest for as long as possible to allow the coating to off gas and harden. It will take a week to reach peak performance.

Why do we need the vehicle over night?


The process for high quality installation takes time to get the best results. We do these stages for all vehicles even if they are brand new. We regularly find that even brand new vehicles have paint defects, and iron contamination from the factory.

It’s important to prepare the paint as carefully as possible as ceramic coatings are designed carefully to bond strongly to automotive paint only. Without these steps we couldn’t guarantee a quality product that will last as long as our guarantees.

We also want to ensure the paint is crystal clear when we put on the coating so we don’t “seal in” any dirt or scratches.
